2008 Summer Camp

The magic of theatre comes to life during our summer camps! Please join us this summer for a fun filled camp you won’t want to miss. The QCPAC if offering a Summer Camp starting June 11th through July 1st. We will have a morning and afternoon session available. Learn audition skills, dance and movement, improv, character development and more! Camp will run Monday—Thursday and all students will participate in an end of camp showcase. Due to the high volume of interested participants, selection will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Class size limited, so sign up early.

The Queen Creek Performing Arts Center is excited to announce a new children's performing arts troupe. This will be an elite group of children, ranging in age from ten to seventeen, chosen to be a part of this exciting, dynamic group that performs throughout the east valley and beyond.

We are looking for energetic, hard-working kids, from grades 4 - 12, who love to sing and dance. The children will be divided into a Senior and Junior troupe. Each troupe will have 3 shows - A Musical Theatre show, A Pop show and a combination of the Musical Theatre and Pop. The program runs for a full year, beginning in June. We rehearse on Wednesdays during the school year. Entry into this elite group is by audition only.

The Troupe auditions will be held:
May 9th 6pm to 8:30pm
May10th Noon to 3pm

Be prepared to:
Sing 2 songs (1 pop and 1 musical theater) Please note preparation is key.
Dance (a dance will be taught at audition) Interview

The troupe will be selected and a mandatory day camp will be held from June 11 thru July 1. During this camp we will have boot camp training and learn the shows for the year. We will also work on the national anthem, public speaking, modeling and hosting. The children selected for the troupe will represent the QCPAC center is many different capacities. Cost of the camp is $175 to the children selected.
